An inside perspective from an ex employee.
Isolation & infection control policies are routinely disregarded as Covid-19 positive residents are allowed to roam freely & staff are forced to work in multiple wings which spreads the outbreak.
2 - 3 staff for over 30 residents many of whom are agency nurses who have never worked in the wing they're in & don't know the residents at all.
No teamwork or sharing of workload even when it's known that it would greatly improve the residents quality of life.
Vindictive management who have banned me from visiting or contacting residents who genuinely want me to visit.
I'd rather hire a homeless person to look after my family member than leave them stuck in here.
