Star Buffet Wollongong
Located at the Illawarra Master Builders Club the Bon Appetit Family Restaurant is very kind on the wallet. The ideal place for a bargain feed for the family. The buffet offers a selection of noodles, salads, desserts and roasts. There is bound to be something that will tempt the fussiest of eaters. This is a great place to be fed and watered with a great deal of satisfaction.

I took my partner to the Sunday night buffet expecting only average food offerings, but this is much better than average.
All tastes are catered for. They are most generous with their seafood selection and that alone is worth the price of admission. With so many delicious looking dishes from such an extensive selection, it was difficult to choose what to eat next so as to leave some tummy room for more.
The service staff are fantastic. They kept the food trays filled and were quick to attend to individual tables to remove the empty plates.
The premises are neat, tidy and spotlessly clean. It is great value for money. I honestly don't know how they can afford to keep their prices so low.
The only negative for me is the coffee machine. It produces hot liquid but you'd be struggling to describe it as 'coffee.'
I'm from Sydney and I'd be tempted to drive down to Wollongong more often just to come to this fantastic buffet.
I have been to plenty of buffets. You know what they're like - lukewarm food, average quality stuff.
Not here.
I don't think I've ever been to a better buffet. Massive variety, fresh food, and all for $21.50. What was best? Perhaps the smoked salmon. Oh no - it must have been the chocolate fountain (I've never seen one at a buffet). But could it be the satay sticks cooked over a custom-made grill.
It's so hard to decide that I'll have to go back to help me work it out!!
