Emily did my daughter's hair last week(which was a fantastic job) but sadly the color did not last a week @ $240.00 you would expect it to last. TWe questioned it and was offered a complimentary hair color by the manager but only to find out the manager left and that Bridgette the new manager will fix this up....the hair was in a bad state after all the coloring but she still continued with removing the color... sadly all the hair broke off and my daughter was not told at all... when we phoned to ask what happened she denied it and said it did not break at all.... seriously you have to be blind not to see this... I am utterly discussed by this and sadly the hair will have to be cut very very short... I don't like shaming like this... but when I called she denied EVERYTHING and thinks she did nothing wrong...What if this happen again...

I had a fantastic experience here in December. I used to avoid salon chains like Stefans because it was often so hit and miss, but I'd experienced an awful colour job (over bleaching) and I made an appointment to get it fixed. It ended up being quite expensive and time consuming because I needed so much work and treatment to save my hair, but if I'd have not needed colour correction and protein treatments it would have been reasonable. They looked after me so well too, I think I drank about 5 coffees, 2 OJs and a litre of water! My stylist Angela was a delight, as was the young lass who washed my hair afterwards (not sure of her name sorry).

I walked out feeling like a million dollars with an awesome blonde bob and have now made Ange my permanent stylist. I'd really recommend giving them a go despite the earlier reviews - not sure what's changed since those reviews but I'm super happy I stumbled upon this salon.

Am extremely happy with Stefan North Lakes, having been going monthly for most of 2015. High recommendations for Claire, Jenny and Jill.

I don't know where the begin my experience at this salon was THAT bad. It took over an hour and a half for a simple hair cut. I had hair just past shoulder length (which apparently is extra long in their books because that's how much extra they said it'd be for highlights if I came back?) and all I wanted was my block fringe trimmed and an all over trim/neaten because I have quite a bit of damage. I had made an appointment in advance explaining what I wanted too, so when I arrived and the stylist I had periodically just disappeared mid cut, and then mid blow dry and then couldn't even finish off my hair because their next client had arrived, it left me feeling pretty annoyed. The staff cutting my hair kept leaving to attend to the front desk for 5-10 minutes at a time because apparently nobody else could. This would have to be one of the most unprofessional and poorly managed hair salons I have ever been to. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere in future. Not only was my haircut below average after waiting three long hours (and didn't get it done until long after the salon doors came down), it was uncomfortable to watch the way a senior staff member spoke to a junior hairdresser, i felt embarrassed for the junior hairdresser who walked away in tears. Very disgusted by this shameful behaviour. Obviously no consideration for staff or customers! Clearly the Stefan brand name is not what it used to be!
