Can't comment on how they cut hair because they can't seem to fit me in ever???? But i can review there customer service. It's bad :( It's really bad) . Got a vocher for my birthday fully paid so tried to make an appointment again and again but they could never fix me in???? ( Any time any day)Never! Made to feel second class and when speaking to them. No matter how good you are at anything in life even cutting hair it gives you no right to be rude..

Amazing faux bob for a 1920's Gatsby themed wedding I went to... I have very long hair so was certainly a challenge. However my hairdresser was absolutely fantastic, his creative touch, ease of reference to the vintage style I needed meant that I almost (but not quite) upstaged the bride with my fabulous vintage do. A testimony to the dedication of hair/vintage/glamour knowledge that sits under Sterling Hair & Barber shop. They also have an in house barber, make up artist to keep things modern and slick, but the authenticity is written in the walls.

First time getting my hair done at Sterling after a glowing review from a friend, and it did not disappoint. My friend suggested I try it out after I complained about the arrogant 'high fashion' salon i normally go to. Sterling was the opposite to what I am used to, relaxed, casual, welcoming and finally some good music to listen to whilst getting my hair done. I am very happy with my cut and my colour and will definitely not be going anywhere else now. Looking forward to my next appointment in 4 weeks :))))

Maybe I just got unlucky.

Today I went and got a hair cut. I paid $65 for a hair cut and beard trim. The staff who cut it seemed to be in a bit of a hurry. The staff used an electric buzz cutter for most of it and only waved the scissors over the rest of it. The beard has been left uneven.
I asked for a haircut that was conservative, what I've been left with, is a head full of uneven hair. I agreed to the cut throat to clean up the edges of this disaster. Sterling was recommended to me by friends (both women and men) and now I happily recommend Sterling to all of my friends. Warm, friendly atmosphere, great style and professional staff.

I was also pleasantly surprised how good value they are as I thought they could be quite expensive given all their press coverage in magazines etc
