I was very excited about going on this course, it was a gift. I love to cook and would class myself as a pretty good cook. I was excited to see how "hands on" we would be getting. I did the Indian course with a staff. I was left very disappointed in the end, it just wasn't very hands on. I peeled a garlic clove and fried the paste, browned the chicken and added the sauce and that ended up being as hands on as it got. Don't get me wrong the food was really good and the place is really nice. I just felt I was twiddling my thumbs a hell of a lot. It would of been nice if the chef had come and ate with us also.
I was given a gift card for a course at Sticky Rice Cooking School as a gift and attended a class earlier this year.
The experience was great, the staff were friendly and informative. The Chef had everybody involved, we were not just watching. The Chef had come from Sydney which made the experience that bit special. The time went so quick, it is a cooking school that I would attend again.
