So I go online to find an "approximate quote" for full head of foils for long hair...it ranges from $195 - $235 on their website. $235 is for the Creative Director...I didn't have the Creative director, nor the next one down....but I was still quoted $375.00. Absolute ripoff.
I am very disappointed. Was quoted $380 to have a cut, colour, streaks and blowdry. I said I couldn't afford to pay nearly $400 for a haircut, came back with $320. I didn't like the colour (almost the same as my natural colour) with the streaks (looked like my grey hair that the colour was supposed to cover), I did mention I didn't like the streaks staff said would ring on Monday to see how I feel. I didn't like my haircut that much either, not much like the picture they had on the wall of their salon. At the checkout I was asked to pay $338 I said I was told $320, they adjusted it to $328, I was tired of arguing by then. I just can't believe I have walked out paying that much money and getting a product I don't like. The poster outside said $80 or $90 to have a cut and blow dry which means I paid well over $300 for colour and streaks which I don't like, unbelievable.
I went in for some caramel highlights to break up my blond, I walked out with grey green mud coloured hair. When I complained they told me to come back in they would decide if there was a problem, (but apparently this was what I was told I had asked for), they would try and fix it. When I said I was on holidays up the north coast I was told to come in after my two week break. When I said I wanted to get it fixed straight away, as I didn't want to spend my holidays with my hair looking so dreadful, and requested a refund so I could get the hair fixed at a salon closer to my holiday place,they told me that my hair already looked awful when I came in, it couldn't be much worse, that they were trying to provide me with a solution, but I was being difficult and trying to bully them into a refund. I was sold a product range from this salon in Chermside that did not suit my hair. I called Sublime after using it for only 3 days and they told me to bring it back in.
When I did I was told because I had bought the product and knew how it would make my hair feel (like straw) that it was too bad and I would have to buy a whole new range.
