Sugar & Spice Brides & Grooms

Thanks to the ladies at Sugar and Spice (Brisbane). There dresses are gorgeous and the the service excellent. I came in stressed, with a relatively short deadline to my wedding day with no idea about dress style, costing, etc. They spent 2+ hours with me offering advice and working with my personal style and hopes for my 'look' on my wedding day. I did not end up buying my dress from this location, but their advice and time were much appreciated.

Went there in March to order and purchase 2 suits for groom and grooms father over $1000 for June wedding in USA and was measured and fitted and brand etc confirmed and given all paperwork, did not want deposit said but told to come back 4 weeks prior to wedding to place order and pay deposit could not have been nicer or more helpful......Went back 4 weeks prior to wedding to finalize order and pay deposit .. all done BUT got a call this week (3 weeks till wedding) we cant get your suits, sorry and no alternative.... you left us in quite a bind now with only 3 weeks and a groom who is 6ft 6in so not off the shelf suits situations, SUGAR AND SPICE YOU SHOULD BE DISGUSTED WITH YOUR STAFF and how you conduct business do you know the situation you have put us in....thank god we did not order the bridal outfit from you if this is how you conduct business.

I went into this shop today to not even be greeted. One women was helping someone with a bridal dress, the other talking and laughing on the phone. I proceeded to look at formal wear for a party and then decided to go up and ask if I could try dresses on. The lady said yes and then said oh I'll try to get (whatever the other ladies name was on the phone) to come and assist you and I'll try to pop between the two. No one came to assist me. I understand that bride's are quite important but you know what, so are other customers. Quite disappointed because I couldn't even do the dresses up properly to see if they fit. I walked out and neither women noticed. I would not recommend it, terrible service.

I should have read these reviews before going too his store and then trusted my instincts one inside. It was a awful experience trying to hire a suit for our son as the staff were incapable of correctly sizing him for every item - the remainder of the errors and general incompetence are too numerous to go into . Ultimately we cancelled the transaction which cost us $100.. Don't waste your time and money going here.

We entered excited and bubbly, but left with a sour taste in our mouths, and a sad start to our day of shopping. Rude staff. Don't spoil your anticipated shopping trip by coming here.
