Summerland can be found in the heart of Bankstown and it's known for more than being a restaurant then almost doubling up as a function center.
I had the chance to visit Summerland during a family lunch, so it was nice to see this place in full force and all tables packed with hungry people. From the moment we stepped in, the tables became filled with food and warm, freshly baked bread was served.

Before going to Summerland I've checked the reviews and noticed low score for customer service. Nevertheless yesterday lunch time four of us went to have the experience that can only be classified as "unique". Firstly, we were greeted by the bored look from the staff with limited english who led us through entirely empty venue and we got seated. A bottle of chilled tap water was served. While the restaurant looked clean and tidy, a quick visit to the bathroom revealed slightly less positive picture. Looking at the menu we noticed that the banquet price has risen to $40 and seafood to $60. Still, we wanted to get some food and we proceeded to order two meat banquets and one seafood. And then to our utmost shock we were told that despite the order standing at $140 we must order another banquet for the fourth person.
