Sun Community Newspapers

I have the Gold Coast Sun delivered on a Saturday instead of a Wednesday. This is most annoying as some things that are advertised are on prior to Saturday. This I feel is just away to unload surplus papers. they just litter the footpath. This is in the Pacific pines area

Well you think it is hard to get the paper trying stopping the delivery. This has been going on for years, I have sent numerous letters, involved local member, contacted consumer affairs. The delivery stops for a while then commences again. I do not want it, it is a waste of paper if I wanted a copy I would pick one up at the shopping centre. It gets thrown on my driveway to litter and then piles up if I am away. I am at the stage of starting a petition to get some sort of register where people can opt out of this unsolicited deliveries. No junk mail on your mail box does not cover this. Something like the "do not call register", I am sure many would be happy to add their names and save the environment. I am not asking for much just no paper please!!!!!

The local paper does not get delivered to all addresses. This is the fifth time that delivery has ceased to my area of Ashmore in 23 months. Poor business practice!
