Sun Hing Chinese Restaurant

One of the worst Chinese restaurant ever. Waited nearly 1 hour for our food. We ordered some special and curried chicken that's all and it took 1 h. The dim sum that came with the special was extremely salty n ful of flour! The curried chicken, pretty sure they striped chicken off a roast chicken.. The food was really really salty very bad reputation for Chinese food. Yuck and the staff at the counter is fairly rude n impolite. No good..

We arrived on a Saturday night for a table for four. Restaurant was busy and the table service was good. We ordered and waited for 15 minutes for the entree of 6 steamed dim sim's. They were the worst tasting thing I have ever put in my mouth. We left them on the table and waited another 30 minutes for the mains. The mains were plain but edible. I ordered the curried prawns which was named "Hot Tongue Special", mainly because it was funny. I think the prawns were fresh which was a bonus. The food was OK but the plastic everything was also a subject of amusement. Ancient plastic bowls and water jugs.

On paying the bill, I asked the staff to remover the entree, 'because it was disgusting'. They did so without batting an eyelid but didn't take it any further. The second worst chinese food we have ever tasted.

Possibly worst food experience ever and I am in the restaurant biz myself... Service was shocking. Got completely ignored till I walked up the counter after 15 min. Waitresses were constantly away in the kitchen prob cooking themselves??? We got in at 8.30pm with a two Yo on the table abd had to wait an hour til we got our entrees. We literally had to beg to have some water on the table... After three complaints we got our mains. Half of them missing and then they were really awful. Not chinese food at all. And after that we did not even get a discount or any other kind of reimbursement. And ten we left feeling squeezy in the tummy. Pls don't ever go there!!!!!

been going to this restaurant since i was a kid. good value,generous servings and delicious authentic chinese food.extensive menu for the whole family

Standard chinese fare at this old Port Macquarie favourite. It's been around a long time and unfortunately an oldie is not a goodie in this case. Average food, average service. Don't bother.
