Sushi Fusion is located on the busy Belmore road. This is in the central business district of Randwick. The restaurant has been a finalist in 2005, 2006, and 2007 for the Restaurant and Catering Best Sushi Bar awards. This nomination is deserved. We've been to sushi fusion a few times now for a quick bite to eat, but mainly because it's probably the best value for money around. All plates on the train are $3, including sashimi (but you get 3 pieces). There are all the traditional sushi choices, but you can also order from a menu: udon, hand rolls and salads. They also sell desserts and alcohol.
If you go at a busy time, everything is pretty fresh, out of regular dinner and lunch times, the sushi has often been sitting there a while. I would always recommend ordering from the menu (still includes $3 price) but that way it's always very fresh.
Workers are nice and attentive.
Definately a great, cheap meal option.
Excellent sushi selection. Get them to make you up a seared salmon specialty - it's worth the short wait. This place is always busy, which means that the sushi is always fresh. Their prices are not cheap, but it is good value for the quality and variety on offer. This is a very cool little restaurant and we're very lucky to have something of this calibre in Randwick.
Sushi fusion can feel a bit like a cool nightclub some nights and is my favourite sushi restaurant in the eastern suburbs. The quality is superb and the food always fresh. If you don't have time to eat in, make up a takeaway box straight from the train. The calamari or kingfish with Sushi Fusion special mayonnaise is delicious.
