Sushi Yachiyo

Five of us dined here recently. The reservation was for 6:30pm and we were informed at the time of booking that we needed to vacate the table by 8pm. At 7:50pm when we were still finishing the drinks, the manager came over and told us that people were waiting for this table and we needed to leave.

The menu is quite extensive – apart from the printed menu, there are also a few daily specials written on the black wall. On the day the special was blue fin tuna, apparently a very rare and premium special that the restaurant doesn’t have very often. SO good and popular for a reason. Their sushi is so ridiculously fresh and the food is really great. It is an intimate setting because their emphasis is clearly on quality over quantity. Definitely book before you go, the food here is so good it is always busy!
