Sydenham St Swimming

What can I say! We didn't even end up starting our lessons here due to the incredible rudeness of the receptionist/admin person (I think her name was Gwen or Glenda or similar). She was incredibly unhelpful and actually just downright rude on multiple occassions. I've never experienced such a poor attitude or abrasive manner before. Shame.

I am very happy with this swim school. Both my children attend and are progressing rapidly. Including the youngest who has developmental delays. The teacher works very well with him. They do not use kick boards, which I feel is sensible as it is unlikely in an emergency situation they would have a kick board or floatation device handy.

Parking used to be an issue as previously council restrictions hampered parking in the street, but this has changed and is no longer a concern.

I have found the administration staff very helpful with any concerns I have. Certainly any reasonable requests of mine have been attended to in a timely and sensible manner.

Unfortunately the quality of this swim school is let down by an administration staff member that was unprofessional, incompetent & rude. The actual swim instructor was good with my child, but due to the way we were treated by the receptionist, we did not go back and would not recommend this swim school. In addition to this, the facilities are small & cramped, and the parking is insufficient.
