Amazing School! I have nothing but praise to say about this school. We've been apart of it for years. My children attend and the teachers are amazing! Actually I was quite surprised to read about the negative comment above. The owners of the school are lovely people and have always been kind and generous to all my kids. The prices are so reasonable compared to most schools out there. Before I attended I did my research and I found sydney art school to be the cheapest one out there and the most professional. We've had so many make-up classes and it's never been an issue.
We found the staff at Sydney Art School extremely helpful during the process of enrolment however the opposite once we were enrolled in a children's art course with all fees payed.
While my daughter has enjoyed the classes, they are quite overpriced and very inflexible. There are no options of 'makeup classes' no matter what notice is given and we have not used any of the $65 equipment pack that was apparently essential to start the classes.
While the art teacher we have had has been lovely, the staff who coordinates all the studios we ( and many others in the classes) have found rude and very hard to deal with. Won't be going back.
I have two daughters attending at present in the Hornsby Saturday studio, one daughter has been attending for two years and we are extremely happy with both the service and tuition.
Jagoasta74 sounds like he or she has a motive in posting such a comment because although their make up policies and upfront fees are there for all to view on their website then why would you go ahead and register and why would it be a surprise to you later?
In saying that my daughter has always been offered a catch up class as a good will gesture.
Also, if my daughter wasn't using her resource kit, then I would be wondering where she was getting the materials from?
