Very disappointing. After reading the Sydney City Removalists website and being confident to use them as they also state that they had insurances.
They did thousands of dollars worth of damage to a clients property and walked away from it. The only help they offered was furniture they found on eBay, with no movement for my client to select.
We had to then pay the client out of our pocket for the damages SCR caused.
Don't recommend.
Booked these guys for 11am. Called at 12.30pm when they hadn't arrived and was told they'd be there in 30 minutes. Rinse and repeat another 4 times. Finally showed up at 5pm. A few days later I was emailed an inovice, which was strange as I'd paid a $200 deposit in advance and then settled the amount in cash on the day. No response when I replied to the email asking for clarification. A few days later I received multiple missed calls and a text from Michael saying 'I'm coming to your house.' Extremely hostile and innapropriate way to deal with an unclarified misunderstanding, especially when dealing with a female client.
I did a move last month and was charged for the minimum hours upfront. On the day of the move I was told that their credit card machine is "broken" and they would really appreciate if I can pay cash for the remaining amount as we went above the minimum hours. I did as advised and then the next day found out that they have also charged my credit card and now I am out of pocket nearly $300. Have been chasing them for a month now but all I get is that someone will contact me. Extremely frustrated and will be reporting this to the authorities. SCR Never again!
