Phone order on Monday night, 26th June 2017. Entrée was 4 spring rolls maybe pork mince in gravy, horrible!!! Main was king prawns in black bean sauce that tasted like supermarket sauce, veges way over cooked or old. Fried rice was worst fried rice we've ever had, no taste, very bland! Total cost $53, rang restaurant and complained but was just shrugged off! Never to return!!! Do yourselves a favour and don't go there!
I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a teenager and I'm nearly 50! Always great food, service and staff. Angela the owner is always so caring and we always have a wonderful meal. Our family goes here for birthdays and special occasions. Cannot say enough on how good this restaurant is.
We ordered over the phone on the 15 November because our regular restaurant is closed for holiday.
I nearly choked when I was charged $95 for 3 dishes, spring rolls and dimsims. They assured me, wait until you get home, our meat is top quality.
WHAT MEAT?
Each container was 70% zucchini and that is not an exaggeration.
DO NOT GO HERE if you want good chinese and value for money!!
The service well and truly exceeded our expectations and the food was the best. While not a kids restaurant, our two kids were made to feel very welcome. Make sure that you try their fried ice-cream - initially, we ordered it for the kids, but when I saw what they received we ordered it for the adults as well. We have now been back on a number of occasions (and always get the fried ice-cream) and have never been disappointed. Top place.
Food was OK as far as suburban chinese goes, way way overpriced! like twice what you'd expect. If you want authentic chinese cuisine, the valley or sunnybank hills.
I wouldn't go back even for the rose, which is a nice touch but you certainly pay for it indirectly.
