It is almost two years since I dined here but my experience was very different from Dave B.'s. The waiter informed us that "all our curries are available in mild, medium hot and then H1, H2, H3 and H4. I suggest that if you haven't eaten here before, you not try anything hotter than H1." We couldn't resist the challenge and ordered one hot and two H4s. The latter were mind blowingly hot and yet incredibly flavoursome.
I don't think that you will be better Indian in regional NSW.
Please re-consider is thinking if you would like to dine here. I was well disappointed with all areas of this restaurant. The entree tasted like it was from the microwave and I couldn't get through the mains as the meat was over cooked. The sauce was too watered down and flavourless. Such as disappointment considering there aren't too many Indian restaurants around the Hunter. I've had better home microwaved Indian dishes.
