Very Nice Relaxing place to stay, the people whom run the resort are very friendly, i have stayed there mulitple times now and have always had any problem solved very quikly. i also reccomend the pizza shop and pub up the road for dinner, very nice food and only 2 mins away.
I am sorry to say that we had a very bad experience there. The place was poorly maintained, overgrown and the rooms definitely didn't appear to be properly cleaned. We had to fight our way to the room through a massive dangling palm frond right in the middle of the path to the room. The place desperately needs updating and and some decent maintenance. When we arrived the staff weren't expecting us, could not find the booking register and did not know the mobile number to contact the management. This once lovely retreat has deteriorated sadly since we enjoyed our last stay there several years ago
I have to say that we were very disappointed with our experience. The room was a very ugly 70s style decor that appeared to have never been updated along with the furniture. When we arrived the room had the aircon running at 16 degrees and the fan was on to try and mask the dank musty smell as a result of the mold. There was no toilet paper provided on the roll. This was the rainforrest cabin. After advising the staff of this we were told that the smell was because of the location being in a rainforrest setting. We were moved to another room which was not much better. The bed was rock hard and after a poor nights sleep we canceled the rest of our stay. ...read more
