Tanjas Cafe & Restaurant

Yesterday myself and 2 friends went to Tanja’s cafe for breakfast. I ordered my meal and specifically asked for firm fried eggs together with tomato toast and bacon and a latte.
When it arrived I saw that one of the eggs was firm as asked and the other was very soft and runny. The tomato was cold. I decided not to say anything and was going to just leave the soft egg.

I have been to Tanjas many times and been more than satisfied with my meals.However.This mornings breakfast left a lot to be desired.I had a full breakfast and the bacon and tomato was stone cold and the eggs were served on a cold sweet bun.Will be awhile before I venture there again.Really disappointed.

Really lovely afternoon here, stopped for a coffee and sweets. Really pleasant space and well greater by staff. The strip of shops here are quite lovely and close to Wellington point beach.

The hired staff are nice enough, but when trying to deal with the owner, things become so sour that it's better to go somewhere else rather than eat the food. EVERY TIME I have dealt with this woman, I have walked away feeling awful. The food is cheap and low quality and the cakes are dry and awful. I do not recommend this cafe

Usually go for breakfast, but have also been for lunch a couple times and coffee at various parts of the day. Only cafe option in the area for post dinner. Always happy with food quality and serving sizes. Coffee is yet to disappoint; have always been happy with hot drinks as well cold. Staff is usually very friendly/helpful; however, have had one staff person who was not great. Wait time is not unreasonable.
