We paid to have an aircon unit moved in a bedroom as we were doing renovations, but I made the mistake of not checking it was working when they finished as was busy with other trades in other rooms. When I noticed I was then told the aircon wasn't working as the plasters must have put a nail in the pipe!!! Then when the plasters said they didn't go anywhere near that area it was found it was the compressor. The compressor has apparently seized since it had been fixed but apparently this was nothing to do with it being moved. I wasn't told it would be another seperate fee to have the aircon back working how it had been for the 5 years before they touched it.
Hi Claire
Thank-you for taking the time to write a review. I regret that in this instance we have not met the level of service expected. I will just note that your system was test run while you were on site with us when we finished the work, and it was operating correctly. It was 2 months later that you reported the issue that it had now stopped and as discussed on site this did not have anything to do with the works we performed.
We do not recommend this company to anyone.
Quote they gave us was seriously inflated. We were told by them everything is wrong with our aircon and would cost around $5k for them to fix it.
I got a second quote from another company and only needed to replace the fan. Costed just under $1k and all fixed.
Hi Eva
I wanted to clarify a few of your comments in your review. We had identified an issue with your system and advised it needed to be pressure tested as it had a refrigerant leak. We were asked to provide you with a budget for these works and to also include a new Zoning control system to allow area to be turned off. Yes or budget for all the works was up to $5000 however this included a lot more than just repairing the system.
