#TazzyTyres sold me 4 tyres and promised they would last similarly long as the 96,000km Cooper tyres they replaced on my 4WD. They lasted 13,000km despite having had two wheel alignments during their lifetime.
Well - I say two, but when I went back and complained about the lifespan of the tyres the store manager looked on the system and said the $55 I paid ...read more
Thanks for your review Claire, it will save me from trying to deal with these guys any further. I also purchased 4 (Pace) tyres from them to replace the Pirellis that my car came with. The Pirellis lasted for approx 38,000kms. Two of the new tyres have been deemed illegal after doing less than 20,000kms, despite having the nitrogen (recommended by them) regularly checked by Tazzy Tyres, wheel alignments done after less than 4,000kms and again 12,000kms later, also by them. These tyres have not worn well at all and I have lost total confidence in Tazzy Tyres to do the right thing. I went to a different tyre shop to get a quote for replacement tyres and they said that they had had another person in the same day with the same problem with the same tyres. Would be interested to hear how you get on with consumer affairs.
I found that the service and quality of work was low. I say this because the fluids in the car were gone in under a month of service - and i am certain there are no leaks, and that there is no way all fluids could have evaporated in under a month. Other mechanics have confirmed this for me.
This makes me question the quality and thouroughness of inspection and if you are getting what you are paying for, because in my case, it certainly appears that i didnt get what i paid for.
The customer service and follow up is not good enough. The guy at the desk, cant wait to get the interaction over with and get back to his fone. I would not recommend this business to any one.
