Tea & Bisque-It
I took my mother and 2 year old here to paint. I was keen to have his little footprints imprinted on a platter which the owner helped me with, then used stencils to paint little trucks around the edges. My mother painted a lovely tea pot. It a great experience and although it took us a long time to complete (being amateurs), the staff were extremely helpful and patient. I would definitely recomend this place to others, in particular mothers groups looking for a creative memory of their bubs.
Bisque is what you paint on here, tea... you can order to enjoy while you work. What a great place for kids to be creative or throw a party. If a child has a party here, they can decorate a special party plate and put their hand print on the wall.
The cost of the bisque is all you'll have to pay. Once you have painted your plate / mug / christmas decoration or jewellery box, you can leave it to be coated in glaze (mint green before kiln fired) and collect your now water-proofed, painted ceramic design. Special orders for bisque moulds can be arranged. You can arrange for staff of bisque to post out the final product, if you can't collect it for whatever reason.

Took my one year old son to Tea and Bisque-it today. The lovely owner helped us create a footprint on his plate, which was by no means easy as my 1 year old was not impressed (and started crying loudly). The owner happily persevered until the footprints looked wonderful. What a great keepsake for when he gets older. The plate we chose was $30 for a medium size. Will be heading back again when we have another child or in school holidays when the kids are older. Would recommend. Thanks again.
