Seemed OK for some meals but salt and pepper squid was a couple of pieces of squid with a heap of flour (which was pretty much all you could taste) and a bit of salt and pepper, about three Lebanese cucumbers cut up made up the salad and hid the lonely one cherry tomato on the plate. Also beware we weren't advised when booking on a Saturday that you could only have the booth for an hour so was a little surprised when an abrupt staff member advised us that we had been there 10 minutes too long and the next booking would be here any minute. Just so you aren't surprised she said! She kept saying it until we left.Would have been less surprised if we were advised at booking. Wouldn't bother to go again.

Pretty cool place. Have never been here before, a mate took me here for a catch up drink and I really liked the set up. So many different levels and different areas. Gives me some good ideas for holding a party/celebration, just got to try the food here first. Definitely will be back for a meal.

Had the worst ever Christmas lunch ever . Used to be such a high standard- now sub standard. Won't go back there unless I hear it has improved. They would have made a mint- charging $90 and only serving up very cheap food which was mixed and not labelled. Presentation disgusting. Prawns and oysters were together- made a slurry of the oysters.Service was poor. Nothing there to make me want to go back for seconds,In hot weather no water on the table- had to get it yourself from a table which was poorly stocked. Quite disgusting really. Only give it a star for the Christmas biscuits/ candle gift on the table. Heard many others say they wouldn't come back. Many left early - before Santa came so missed out on a gift they would have paid for.

The setting here has always been really nice - somewhere for a nice function at Christmas or birthday or the like (though to be honest at Christmas time it does get really busy, I've sometimes been squashed in a bit), and even at busy times staff are still very friendly and service is fast. Roast is one of my favourites, well priced and nicely cooked - not just in water like some other places. The salad bar is nice though not super-big, prices are a bit above average at dinner though the seniors & lunch menu are good value and food is great. Desserts very yummy (and come with a $1 coffee offer) and creative. Somewhere I'll be back too because of all of this.

Okay, this pub was a bit out of the way so I have only been here a couple I times, but it is always worth the trip. At first glance it looks like a small suburban pub (and has all the trappings thereof), but as soon as I walked into the bar I was literally blown away by the beer garden out the back. What makes it even more impressive is that not only is it enclosed, but it is also non-smoking. The pub is actually on three levels, namly because it is built next to a creek, which runs through the middle of the beer garden. There is also a massive screen out there, which gives a new definition to the term 'big screen'. I first came here with a group of friends after a long hike (at the recommendation of another friend who is a regular) and we ended up spending a couple of hours here simply soaking in the atmosphere (and watching the football). In fact I liked the place so much that I made an effort to come up here a second time simply to have a beer in their beer garden (and plan to do so again).
