When we were looking for someone to construct our front door and surrounds, I was concerned about the single negative review posted here. Having spoken to Teal and satisfying myself that they are professionals, we went ahead and engaged them. I’m happy to report now that not only are they professional, they are absolute master craftsmen and truly excellent service providers. My experience could not be more different to what the earlier negative reviewer posted - something is clearly amiss there.

When we built our home it was designed with lots of windows and doors opening on to outdoor decking. This was a quality build and we expected to pay accordingly. However the doors and windows were a complete let-down from the beginning. Teal windows were difficult to deal with and when ever there was an issue always shifted the blame elsewhere. When the doors and windows arrived they had chatter marks and after much blame shifting Dion reluctantly agreed to replace them. The builder we chose was working on a cost plus basis and we were then left with the extra expense of having them removed, the down time involved and then refitting. We paid an extra $10,000 to have the windows treated with oil as recommended by the oil specialists. This was obviously not done properly and now we have a mould issue. Teal Windows is disappointed with the comments made in Dianne’s review. At Teal Windows cost Teal has willingly worked with the builder and the finish supplier to rectify the mould growth on the surface of Teal’s products which the finish supplier’s chemist advised is specifically related to the setting of Dianne’s house site. The same mould appears on other products at the house. Teal rectified the machine chatter on several doors at Teal’s expense in a timely manner. On inspection all fly screens were in order. Following a site visit the finish supplier has made recommendations to Dianne’s husband Martin to rectify the mould issue followed by Martin applying the finish coats. Teal Windows will continue to monitor the progress of all finish supplier’s recommendations and will always work to resolve customer issues to the satisfaction of both parties.
