One of the best Malaysian restaurants I've been to. They occupy two stores on either side of the alley way and are constantly fully booked. I recommend going for lunch when there is less of a crowd. They make great classics like nasi lamek and their sambal is spicy as, so be warned.
Before Mamak and Paparich, Tamasek has been our local malaysian food to go to place, i still come here but my friends like the others better not because of taste but convenience.
Friendly service and friendly staff ... happy to come back.
Sweetandyummie loves this place too ...
Tamasek has better and bolder flavours along with traditional taste the other places blends in for the westerners to adapt the market. Not saying its not good but you lose the traditional taste which Tamasek stands on!! Until next time ...keep eating!!!
