Thai Riffic

This eatery has been around for several years now, and seems to be going downhill. It was nearly empty when we last visited. Food was ordinary but extremely overpriced for quality, presentation, and especially it's low-quality service. Try elsewhere.

It had probably been years since I previously visited Thai Riffic Randwick, but not a lot has changed for this one corner restaurant. Located in the very heart of the busy Spot Junction, this medium sized restaurant is still sporting low light ambiance with western-inspired decor and highlights, and are still filled with locals of mostly young family demographics.

We were there for a Saturday evening dinner just before 7pm and the restaurant was already busy and crowded, it wasn't really a place to have serious conversation but rather to be loud and merry. Love Thai riffic!!! Massaman Beef here is amazing!!! Meat melts in your mouth and its BYO which I love :) lovely setup too

Came here with a friend for dinner on a Thursday night. Staff were rushed off their feet (very busy night it seemed). We were shown to our table with menu's and our drinks order was taken as we sat down. The staff are fast at taking your order and the kitchen was working at warp speed, pushing out take away after take away, home delivery after home delivery and all while serving the in house dining guests too! Our meal came relatively quickly (entree's then the main). We ordered Soft Shell Crab (a weakness of mine) and was please to say it was not too greasy, quite crisp and full of that flavour I love! We also went for the Beef Pad See Ew which was another tasty dish, but not outstanding like other Thai places I have been to before. Ate there Saturday night, service was poor, food slow in coming. With plenty of other food outlets in the area that do it so much better why bother.
My recommendation - give it a miss.
