I was a student in this college, and to be honest it could not have Brenner ore stressful. I studied a diploma in beauty and let me tell you, they are highly understaffed. We were lucky to get 2 really good teachers, but all the other ones just participate in bullying. And if not that, they are the ones being bullied and end up leaving in the end. We got shoved into another class who were behind in their studies ( they started 2 months later), they made the class do 1 month of subjects in a week and made us wait and still expected us to finish on the finish date. And if we couldn't finish at that time, we had to pay. One of our teachers got bullied and fired in front of our eyes, which was just traumatic, and they was no compassion from anyone. The head of the school is only after money and does not care about students at all. They are always out of stock and extremely unorganised. The workbooks are just copy pasted from the Internet and are full of ...read more
I attended this school to undertake a diploma of Specialised makeup services, and it was woefully inadequate.
The facilities are poor - terrible lighting on the makeup side, only certain mirrors have lights (and they are a terrible colour cast). The makeup kit that you pay retail for $1200 doesn't even contain everything that you would need to start freelancing (eg no blush, no contouring products, no primer, etc) - what's not in your kit needs to come from the "class kit" which is also often under stocked. Each class is allowed one box of tissues per class (and if there are 15-20 students that doesn't last long, especially when cleaning brushes).
Face charts are to be completed on printed A4 paper, not proper face chart paper which makes it very hard to ...read more
DO NOT GO TO STUDY HERE! Worst education standards ever
These people are rude, cold hearted, and ruthless.
1) If the staff dont like you they will bully you.
2) if you are poor and have trouble paying for fees they do not sympathize. If you decide to not pay for kit fees (which isn't compulsory by school policy) they will make ypur education as hard as can be.
3) they are disorganized. Lessons are not thought through, most teachers are clueless as to what they are teaching until the day arrives.
These are the lowest standards of education I have seen. With the exception of some very good teachers that fight against their systems to give the students what they need. It is mainly the management's fault.
Paid $35.5 upfront for an one-hr massage at 1pm, didn't get served until 1:45pm because the previous customer was 30mins late (so they said). I suggested that I would get an half-hr massage instead because I needed to be somewhere else and they were just way too late.
they offered a voucher so i could used it some other time, which i agreed assuming it'd give me another half hr of massage. Had my half-an hour massage ...read more
