The main two storey building was commissioned in 1856 as the Bank of Australasia (now the ANZ Bank). The decor and fittings reflect that era. The ground floor is now an award winning restaurant and the bank and gold vaults are used to house our extensive cellar. The second storey, once the manager's residence is now the proprietor's residence. The elegant dining room is available for private dinners for up to eight guests. Across the garden courtyard are four self contained rooms in what once was the coach house and stables. Each room has a queens sized bed, ensuite, television and refrigerator. Their separation from the main house ensures your privacy. The colourful courtyard encourages relaxation. Pull up a bench, read a book, have a glass of wine, tea or coffee and listen to the kookaburras. We even, on occasion, have a visit from a friendly koala.
