The Baxter Inn

Love this place, great to go with your mates and get a shot or two. Pretty classy too with live music like jazz. Very good atmopshere that the blokes can meet up at the start of the night or the end and still have a great time.

After a night of cabaret deliciousness served up by the wonderful Camille in the Speigeltent my date suggested we hit up this little dive bar.

What I didn't realise is how lost we would get trying to find it, you see it's a little door in the back alley of another alley that you have to walk up to find. And when one is tottering on heels with wine in them, the adventure becomes even more adventurous!

The place to be of you like your whiskey! But there's no drink available for non-whiskey drinkers.
Great ambience with soft lighting.

I've had many friends rave about it but it just didn't live up to the hype for me, may not be surprising as I'm not a huge whiskey fan. The decore is pretty cool but the place is quite small and gets very packed. Their wines were alright. As far as small bars go, I have to admit there's plenty around that I would prefer over this.

such an awesome venue with great jazz music. personally i really enjoyed the freshly pressed apple juice combined whiskey.
The best part for me personally is the free pretzels all night! The downfall is how busy it gets, but super understanding as it is such a great venue, wouldn't expect anything else. Staff likewise really nice.
