The Beach House Seafood Restaurant

Went to the Beachhouse for our anniversary. We had a wonderful night the waitress was lovely and we had a great chat and laugh with the owner Greg!

Our food was amazing we started with oysters "A Bakers Dozen " flavours from around the world... Then we had a Surf and Turf and a Reef and Beef scrumptious eye fillet with Prawns and Cray on top!! Yummo!!! We will defiantly be going back... Actually next week have a table booked already.... taking friends this time.. 

I eat out a lot and I couldn't be so Negative about any place!! I had to go and check this place out for my self. After reading the below comment.

I found it to be some what different but on a hole pleasant. I had oysters which were fantastic my partner had calamari and she enjoyed hers. If anything I could complain about we had to wait awhile because they were busy. But defiantly will try again.

This restaurant is a joke. The answer lies not in more promotion but in a change of look & feel. This restaurant is never busy. The other restaurants nearby are always full. That says it all. It's like stepping back into the 1990's with really ordinary paintings of fish in pastel colours. The wait staff is so sultry, unfriendly, hasn't smiled ever in their lives. Staff's the absolute opposite of what that place needs. They defrost frozen fish, warm it up and serve it to you. There is no natural light in the place. No cool music. No contemporary feel. Really cheap decor, furniture, cutlery etc. If you took a date there he'd/she'd never talk to you again. If it were the last restaurant on earth you'd stay in & cook.

Visited the Chelsea beach area, we wondered through the shops and found LOTS of takeaways and down at the end of the shopping area, was this quaint little Beach House Cafe! The theme is beach fantastically achieved with all the little quirky items found around the place.
The 4 of us dined in an uncrushed, un squashed area accompanied by 2 or 3 other tables. I have eaten all around the world but WOW!! What nice a choice of seafood and fruit presented uniquely. The Seafood was seasonal and fresh and the price was according to the serve valuable.
After lunch we slipped into the pool room and played a couple of free rounds of pool the girls had these amazing cocktails and we were truly surprised!!!

We highly recommend this place to any other adventurous diner you will be pleasantly surprised!!! We will be back.

Well we received a pamphlet in the mail saying $10 specials on a Wednesday night. Do we go? Well we decide let's go and hopefully it's NOT what you pay for is what you get! We have seen the BILLBOARDS all the time so we thought this is a good way to check it out... Well were we Surprised!! For $10 and the beautiful food and servings were very generous, 5 different meals to chose from. We can't cook at home for that or do dishes and who wants to... We are now making this a weekly thing till the special may or may not finish. We also got to have a look inside and it's so cute all beachy. We are defiantly coming back with some family on a Saturday night and we going to order there $99 seafood platter it looks amazing!!!!! I can not believe we didn't give this place a go earlier.
