i have gone to many Sri Lankan Resturants in Sydney but the Blue Elephant at Crows Nest is definatley the best! It provides first class service, sensational food and dim lighting providing a peaceful serene environment. it also has a great selection of wines which blends perfectly with the unique blends of Sri Lankan spices used. Their signature dish the Chilli crab is definetley a dish not to be missed an the Kottu Roti is sooo delicious! to my fellow sri lankans i must say it is actually better then the pilu house in Sri lanka itself! so check it out. i truly did have a Sri Lankan Experience
The food here is authentic and quite tasty, however for the price the meals are way too small. The service is friendly, but very slow. When I dined here, we were one of three tables, and we still had to wait half an hour for our meal to arrive. If you are a fan of Sri Lankan food, then by all means dine here, but make sure you're not too hungry and you have good company to talk to during the long waits.
