This is one of my favourite places to go to in Perth. I don't know exactly what it is that makes me enjoy it so much. The layout is great and can accommodate large groups or smaller intimate occasions. The staff are always exceptionally friendly and the orders are dealt with extremely quickly. It's very easy to get to with the train line just over the road which is great if you plan to have a few. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is great. Worth checking this place out if you haven't been here already.
Me and my friends went to this place last day and it was a pleasant experience altogether. The customer service here was really efficient and delivery was quick. We didnt have to long for a long time waiting for the food to come. Being a pub restaurant, we didnt have much expectations. But we were proved wrong. Highly impressed!
A very nicely decorated bar to stop by for a drink or two, or to use as a central meeting point close to Esplanade train station.
Given the high prices ($8 for a 150ml glass of wine or $8.80 for a 425ml beer), and transient city crowd, it had a bit of a "sterile" atmosphere on the evening of our visit.
We were considering having something to eat there, but the lack food on anyones tables suggested Boheme is best for a quick drink and not food. Given the high drink prices for smaller than usual serves, I suspect the high food prices are also masked by small portions.
The service was quick as the bar wasn't busy, and the bar tender was happy to let me sample a couple of their new James Squire beers before buying.
Overall, not one to avoid, but definitely not a place for a night out.
Great place to relax and recover after city shopping, good range of drinks and some weird and wonderful Australian food (last time I was there I had kangaroo, crocodile and pork sausages with mash!). Staff are very friendly and helpful, always smily :)
Unless you are British I dont recommend going there when there is a soccer game on as it just becomes a loud, loutish place full of drunk backpackers.
Be sure to take your ID, as they will ask for it.
