The Carpet Cleaning Company

Possibly the most displeasing company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Similar to others below, I had two 'bookings' cancelled - the first they simply didn't turn up then made up some things about their truck being in a road accident. The second they confirmed one hour before, only to then cancel two hours after the booking time! Both times I'd made special arrangements to rehome my pets and leave a key for access - they really don't care. I have been battling since early May to get a refund - daily calls and emails are met with the same empty promises from the staff. The elusive Manager has not once returned my calls. I am now seeking legal advice to take action against this company. Do NOT use them!

Purchased two vouchers from Zoupon (now Deals.com.au) back in November 2010. I tried to get a booking back in February for a March date. All dates were booked and I agreed to pay a surcharge so they can come on a Sunday. A week before my booking, I get a call saying their equipment has failed and they have to cancel all bookings for that week. Next available date was in May!! Totally unacceptable. The vouchers are due to expire on November 2011 and I gave one to a friend. When she tried booking, she was informed that the voucher has been cancelled and that I can get a refund. I called today and was informed that they have cancelled their vouchers with Zoupon due to a conflict with terms and agreements. Stay away from this company.

I too have had a similar experience so far. I purchased a deal on Scoopon. Arranged an appointment for May. They rang to cancel 'emergency annual leave' was the excuse. I thought it odd but accepted their excuse. They've yet to reschedule or return my call. Very unprofessional so far and I wait with trepidation for what actually happens if anything.

****BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE**** I purchased a coupon through scoupon - after leaving a message to contact me re an appointment, took 3 weeks of my constant calling, got an appt and they didn't turn up!!.Called the after hopurs # and he couldnt find any record of the appt. Finally got through the following week and apparently the vehicle broke down! For the inconvenience they would scotch guard for free!!!.Couldn't get another booking for like 2 months, they called to confirm week of appt and changed the time - told them i had an appt and had to be out at a certain time and was told it would be OK. To make quicker I moved ALL furniture from rooms being cleaned. When they hadn't turned up at time given I once again called to see what the hell was going on only to get someone who basically had no idea. Very unprofessional company.. I bought a coupon from Ouffer.com.. They have taken the money upfront for the service.. kept stalling for 2 months to make a booking and then finally called to tell us they cannot provide us with the service and will refund our money and have still not done so.. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
