Our child has recently started at Coast Christian School and I can honestly say I could not have wished for a more nurturing environment. The transition program and buddy system was great and made settling in much easier than anticipated. The small size of the school creates a wonderful sense of community and belonging. Every child is known as an individual and the friendships and play buddies span across multiple years. I am confident that my child is being cared for, educated and developed by a team of well resources professionals who genuinely care about his development, not just academically but as a growing person. I cannot recommend the school highly enough. Pop in for a visit and see for yourself - there is an open door policy where potential new students and parents are welcome any time.
A new principal in 2015 means the nature of this school has changed dramatically, No longer the caring and nurturing environment it once was.
There has been a large exit of families, numbers dropped a great deal due to an authoritarian leadership style whereby if you question anything you will be given the stock tandard reply 'if you don't like it find another school' - so people did. many people.
