The Fish Shop

We have been wanting to try this merivale establishment for a few months and finally found ourselves in the area. There was plenty of street parking and it was easy to get a table. But really, it was only 5pm. We were anticipating family favourite a with the usual modern flair you would expect from Dan Hong and crew. This place did not disappoint. Beautiful fresh seafood, cooked in simple elegant ways. The cuttlefish was so tender and the garlic, coriander and chilli oil made it taste so deliciously fresh. The market special fish stew was $37 and with only 2 pieces of fish, 2 prawns and four mussels it was a little disappointing, however that broth... It was all consumed and savoured.
