The Fish Varsity Lakes

I love the fish and chips here, so tasty and well priced and the service is great. We have fish and chips every fortnight and not once have I been disappointed! Highly recommend if you are looking for fish and chips.

This has to be the most flavorless fish and chips that I've experienced on the Gold Coast. I have tried it on many occasions hoping i had just had a one off bad experience, but not the case. To top it off, almost every time I've been there they get our order totally wrong, even though we try to explain it very clearly multiple times. Very disappointing!

I highly recommend the fish place not just for its great food at reasonable prices but for its excellent customer service. Everyone always has a smile on their face and food is served fast but not compromising on the quality. It's one on the most popular places to eat in the varsity lakes area and with good reason. Props as well to Carla and Sam who not only give great service, but make the whole dining experience fun and worthwhile.

Absolutely poor service, the whole point of giving a time that your food would be ready is exactly that! Not then making u wait another 30mins.

Id been recommended to go to the fish for a burger, which I thought was strange, but turns out I was wrong. They have a variety of "burger packs" but I opted for the "Fish Burger Pack", that included the burger a good handful of chips and a can for $10.50. It was a great deal when I usually get a footlong sub for not a lot less. Great lunch place that is usually quick although can be a bit slow when the high school kids are on break!!!
