The Good Guys

Clearly the OWNER & MANAGEMENT don't read their customer reviews and this is causing them to lose sales, including me. I literally stood still for 15 minutes (no word of a lie) next to the washing machine I was wanting to enquire about. Not one sales person approached me in that time. The one man who did come over went to the couple nehind me, who'd arrived 10 minutes after me. So I gave up and went to the front desk and asked the girls 3 simple questions. 1. Do you have them in stock. 2.What is the delivery cost to my suburb & 3. Can I purchase it online as I'm over waiting for a sales rep. The 1 star is for the girls on the front desk, who did try helping me by calling a sales member to come assist, who also got on the phone to try and find out the delivery cost & who looked up to see if the item was in store. Terrible service! Bought a dishwasher for my rental property over the phone was assured by the salesperson that they had 3 in stock. Arranged with my access with my tenants, and when my plumber turned up to pick up the dishwasher they told him they had sold out. That cost $120 call out fee! Took 9 phone calls to get onto some one in white goods, got left on hold and hung up on 3 times. Had to install a white model which was cheaper but in stock. Then had issues with the machine, 4 phone calls later spoke to a manager, and was told my plumber had probably installed it wrong and I would have to pay a call out fee for their service people to look at it. Then had to chase my refund on the cheaper model which apparently has to go through head office!
Would give negative rating if possible!

Will never step foot in this store again - Buyer beware!! Management and staff are both rude & arrogant.

In this time of internet shopping you should look after your customers. Have purchased from many Good Guys stores around Australia & they have all been great but your store is the worst, Shame on you!

Dealt with this store for the last time. The service was terrible and the management is arrogant. Customer service is abysmal. Management should remember that its hard times in Mackay and the days of poor customer service is over!!

Terrible store. Was treated with sarcasm and rudeness after they were unable to deliver the fridge I had purchased (it was damaged) on the day they were suppose to. I was then pressured into buying a replacement fridge which was more expensive and was lower quality. I have bought from many other 'Good Guys' stores and they have always been excellent. Mackay store has bad service, bad deals and rude, sarcastic salesmen and owner.
