Been wanting to try out this pub for a while now but was very disappointed as it had no atmosphere. There was a woman at the bar that had a real sour face and looked really unhappy. Really disappointed as I thought it would have been different. But they do serve alcohol but honestly I would have taken my drink home to go if I could have
Went to this pub last weekend and have a few mixed reviews. Went in for some drinks and something to eat and the first thing I saw right next to the bar was a baby in a cot. I don't mean a child minding service, it looks like it's a permanent set up for a staff member or owner. Not to judge as I don't have kids and if I ever do who knows if I would bring them to a pub late on a weekend or not. Possibly would. But my issue is I just felt like I had to watch my language talking to the boys and felt this wasn't the right choice for a night out. Friendly staff which is a nice positive but Parma was a little burnt and dry. Didn't know where to park when I got there was a bit confusing
Well to be completely francis David, I thought the Sandbar's service and food was a of a very low standard. The hard wooden floors gave the place a noisey, echoey atmosphere in which it was impossible to have a civilised conversation without yelling. I felt the food was not the worst I have ever had but wasnt really up to scratch. I give The Sandbar 1/5 stars
