The Original Open Market
The premier and original open market of the Fleurieu Peninsula has been operating since 1982. It is held on the first and third Sunday of each month.
Stalls consist of fresh fruit and vegetables, plants, arts and crafts, antiques, collector's items, bric a brac and other second hand items.
All monies raised are donated to local organisations and charities in the City of Onkaparinga. At present in excess of AUD150,000 has been donated.

At one time, it was possible to find lots of interesting second hand , new items and food. Now advertised markets for special occasions are cancelled without proper notice when they happen to clash with other community events ie the Adelaide show. The reason , bad weather, but for an outdoor market , there is never going to be perfect weather. I cannot recommend this market, even when advertised, it maybe cancelled.
