The pier hotel

This is actually the bar of the Oaks Apartments down at Glenelg, though it is more like its own pub rather than your standard lobby bar. At first I thought it was just a new bar, until I discovered that there was a entrance leading into the lobby. It's not a bad pub, and also hosts a pool table, some decent tap beers (including Stella, which I still don't mind drinking occasionally) as well as a set up for a DJ. It's not as crowded as some pubs in Glenelg (and this was new years eve), and the bouncer was pretty cool as well (not a pretentious as some can be). They have an outdoor area that runs down the side, though it gives more of a view of the building opposite as opposed to the beach, which is also a shame, however it isn't a bad place for a drink or two.
