The Royal Grill

This was a random drop in on the way home from the movies, I remember going here in my teens so was curious if it had changed. It's had a facelift which is good. We ordered the mulloway and rump steak. The mulloway was really nicely cooked and tasted great. The rump was overcooked to medium well but was still really tasty and tender - we could only imagine how good it would have been if the steak had been cooked medium rare as requested! Meals came out in a reasonable time.

We decided to have a late Sunday afternoon meal, and just happened to be near the Royal. I remember this hotel back from its heady days in the late 90s, when it used to have a really busy Friday nights.
