Wonderful service, great price, practical advice and Lauren is a marvel. I have a long-standing abhorence of going to the hairdresser, but I will gladly see Lauren again. Highly recommended.

I am in Melbourne for work and was lucky to find this salon right across from my accommodation. they did a fantastic job on my cut and colour, listened to me and as a result I walked out with exactly what I wanted and feeling fantastic! This is the first time I have ever had my hair cut and been informed beforehand exactly what the price would be, what a great way to do business. The salon is excellent value for money and I am planning on returning again before I leave Melbourne. they are lovely and very talented, I wish I could take them back to Cairns with me!

Lauren at The Rumours are True is amazing!! She is young, vibrant and listens to what you want. She is so talented and creative. She has only been open a few short months and is already starting to build a massive database of clients. I recommend anyone who asks for a hairdresser to go to Lauren. You won't be dissappointed!

Jonathon is an amazingly talented guy, rendering my 70% grey hair with multiple bad home colours into a mass of chocolate and scarlet waves that my friends envy. He cuts like a magician, and seems to know exactly how to make a girl feel like a million dollars.



The team will recommend home hair care, but unlike other salons, are not pushy and insistent that you take home products that your budget might not stretch to. They also are happy to show you techniques to get those lovely styles and looks that you walk out of the salon with.
