My family had the worst lunch in this restaurant. I ordered fish and chip with grilled, the guy told me that the filet will be separeted to small pieces, he recommended fried. I ordered calamari with grilled, an extra chips. Two tables sitting next me who are laughing and showed me the most smallest fish filet in the take away box. When We saw our food, a quite small fried fish and a few pieces of calamari in the box. It was the worst food I have eaten so far. It cost me 41 bucks.
A warm remind “don’t go to this restaurant”.
We visited the peninsula for the first time last w/end and thought we'd try some local produce - seafood. We were very disappointed with our lunch. We had the paella for two, which was overloaded with spicy paprika and chilli and under weight on the seafood - it was extremely dry and returned unfinished. And to top it off, the staff didn't want/didn't seem to be able to handle our constructive criticism at the time when asked if we had enjoyed our meal. Hence our review in writing. The 2 stars are for the view.
I went to the tavern for the first time when it first opened.I have been many times since then and every time is always the same- Fantastic! The food is simple and fresh and the staff are fun and helpful. Go there! Especially on Wed, Thur and Sunday nights when they have a cheap special. I cant remember how much, but I rememeber its good!
