Carbon paddle snapped cleanly only after fourth paddle in the lake( 4 months old)All the paddles in the store are at different price points, yet the warranty of 3months is the same. The staff at the Byron store are Arrogant and rather then be helpful come up with excuses. Go elsewhere to purchase products that aren’t Chinese made and are backed with a warranty and friendly staff
I am on my third board from the surfboard warehouse. The first was a gypsea sled which i got about 4 years ago, which was a little on the soft side, the next was a dark horse which had improved heaps and held up well and I have just got the new delta and it is bloody awesome. The delta truly handles some solid surf, holds well in 6ft surf of straddie like charm and the thing is bullet proof so far. They have seemed to improve a lot these past few years because each new board I get just seems better and better and I have been swapping out with a few mates and they have been pretty shocked with the quality you get for your dollar.
After All above board closed down in Lennox Head it has been a struggle finding a good SUP company in the area. I found Surfboard Warehouse through Facebook and although they aren't at Lennox, Byron is not too far away and the only SUP shop for miles. I am so happy, I found them, the service is great, cut my paddle to my height, good advice especially when it comes to fins and I ended up leaving with a Vex Pro and paddle pack. The board has gone amazingly well and compared to the Naish boards I use to ride and still do, for the price, service and quality you can see why they sell a lot of boards.
Buying online is always a little bit risky especially when it is a brand you don't know or a product that is fragile like surfboards. But I took a leap of faith and purchased as I couldn't look past the half priced price tags and I have to say I am impressed with the product. I have been using my Zephyr for just under 10 months now and it would have to be in the top 3 boards I have ever ridden, its strong with carbon cloth, fast through fat sections and turns really well considering the boards width. The board has FCS 1 fins where I would have liked FCS 2 but otherwise the product is all but perfect. I am now a convert and ordered a new shorty last night from this company as literally I can get two for the price of one.
