Car was advertised as having working A/C, and yet parts of the system were MISSING - False Advertising. Dealer's response - use parts from a wrecker to fix the problem, even though their own recommended mechanic advised AGAINST this option.

Result - $2,000 extra costs to repair the problem, and being screamed at over the phone as soon as I mentioned consumer rights.

I do not recommend this company.

I found Paul and his father Dick to be great in all aspects.

I have nothing but praise for the way they run their business.

I have been in business for over 40 years and must admit they went out of their way to help me with a recent car purchase.

They were most helpful and very honest.

I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody.

So it seems as though this is a common occurrence with the used car gallery. As they're pretty much one of the first places you see when arriving, you're naturally drawn to it. I stopped by and had a look, I was treated pretty standardly, I was a little bit taken a back by the old school style salesmanship going on. Upon thoroughly reading through the guarantee offered, I was alarmed. The guarantee offered verbally did not in any way match up with what I was offered on paper. I believe there is plenty of intentionally misleading comments being dished out by the staff on site and then there's plenty of conjecture on this page regarding reviews. There's nothing worse than being treated like an idiot and you can instantly see through it. Paramount to buying a used car is trust, and I honestly feel like I couldn't trust anything they say.

The warranty is provided FREE...you red the booklet and signed it upon delivery.I am happy to discuss any issues you have with the FREE warranty.If you are unhappy with any aspect i will pay to upgrade your warranty to a higher cover at no cost.This is the first I have heard of it.Please contact me to discuss

Do not trust these people!



My daughter bought a car and the car broke down the same day, leaving her stranded on the side of the road in country Vic for several hours. The salesman initially would not take any responsibility, and denied that they could possibly have missed something in the roadworthy.



Eventually, he agreed to pay some of the cost of repairs as a 'good will' gesture - We never saw that money. When I eventually followed it up, he conveniently claimed that the business had been sold (but kept the same name), and we were told we were too late for any 'claims'.



This has been a bad experience for my daughter buying her first car. There are plenty of choices in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne - I suggest you pick any except the Used Car Gallery (unless of course you like arrogant car salesmen who do not stick to their promises)...

the $75 we offered you was last Dec.you never invoiced us for the amount.you called 3 weeks ago.you supplied invoice and we paid the $ 75 into your account......Vic Roads do the RWC not us...we offered the funds to cover you towing....you cannot help some people...oh...the business is under new ownership ....

We could do this forever - truth is, I have the documents and I did send them; without proof you can say what you want.



Oh, short tip... If you are going to invent buyers to give you positive reviews, make sure the reviews are at least written over a space of time. Seriously? 3 comments all at the same time? Do you just treat everyone like idiots? Oh, that's right, people are only important if they have money.

Interesting that you think we are different people considering the time difference between our reviews. Also because i know you remember exactly the day me and my husband came in because i wrote the review the very next day.

Nice try, but your customer service is apalling and now you have to deal with the bad reviews.
