The VCCRI has as its mission: "The relief of pain and suffering, and the promotion of well-being through an understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases."
The VCCRI was established in February 1994 to honour the vision and memory of the pioneering cardiothoracic surgeon and humanitarian, the late Dr Victor Chang. To fulfil its mission it strives to conduct the highest quality fundamental research into cardiovascular diseases, as well as playing a major role in disease prevention, in the training of cardiovascular researchers and doctors, and in the rapid transfer of new knowledge, treatments and diagnostics to the patient.

Dr. Victor Change was himself a good human being, I know they have dedicated and talented work force, they have a thorough understanding of cardiovascular biology in health and disease. Heart disease is common dieses amongst ladies/man and kids. This kind of research will impact whole mankind.
Victor Change Institute plays a very important part in our community for relieving pain and suffering and the promotion of well-being, through an understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of cardiovascular biology in health and disease. Heart disease affects all elements of our community from young to old. If it wasn't for passionate individuals research I know that my sister would not have been able to have a child.
