Pubs & Bars
The Windsor on Park
48 Park St
Sydney, NSW, 2000
This is a nice little pub in just down the road from Hyde Park (and directly across the road from a hotel that I once visited). I say that it is a nice pub, but it isn't something that really grabs my attention all that much. In a way it is just a basic city pub on the corner which seems to attract all sorts of people to either have a drink or to flutter on the pokies (which are located downstairs). They have some outdoor seating at the front but unfortunately for the smokers it's non-smoking. The owner was quite nice though, and as I've suggested it has a nice laid back feel to the place. However it is probably more one of those meet up for a drink before heading out into the night, or a quiet afterwork drinks type of pub, but for that it is pretty nice.
One of Sydney's very many pubs.
Good service, you're able to run a tab if you're settling in for a while, and the lamb kofta balls were great for a light shared lunch.
Worth stopping in for a cold one or two.
Has two areas with another bar downstairs and screens with sport playing all day.
