Thea Tea Shop

This used to be a regular haunt of mine back when I lived in Adelaide, though I should also mention that I would regularly come here with friends. The thing about this place is that it happens to be a vegan speciality restaurant, and I have to admit that I never realised the variety that you could get if you only restricted yourself to vegan food. Further more the food actually tastes really, really good as well. In addition to the vegan menu, they also have a huge variety of teas, and some pretty delicious fruit drinks as well. Mind you, it does get pretty busy at lunch time so you do actually need to time yourself. Still, definity worth it, and pretty good on price as well.

Long time fan of Thea. Still love the cold passionfruit tea. The cold spicy noodles are now my favourite. Still gets ultra busy at lunchtime which is great to see.

It's been a while since I've been here so I was glad to see that it is still as popular as ever. I was tempted to go with my old favourites (noodle soup or black pepper rice) but thought no, I'll try something different - so basil nuggets (weekly special) and spicy cold noodles it was. Both were worth switching for - especially the noodles! I couldn't pass up my favourite passionfruit tea though...

I'm not a regular for vegetarian places, but Thea's Tea Shop is great for a good vegetarian feed. Lunch time specials are decently priced and the food has been good the times that I have come here. Definitely worth trying out, especially if you like to venture out for your lunch breaks in the city.

A great little place for lunch that is always quick, and incredibly efficient. Perfect for a quick lunch, or even just an afternoon lemon tea.



Best to book to make sure you get a table, as it can be really busy. Takeaways are also a good option.
