Theobroma Chocolate Lounge

we have always visited while shopping until recently i think new management must have takedn over the staff were not helpful i only received one waffle where as before i received two this is unfortunate and disapointing they need to pick there game up.

Theobroma is the ideal destination for those who wish to sit in elegant surroundings and choose from a wide variety of expensive and disappointing chocolate-based food. The pretentiousness of this franchise is evident by the fact that the name 'Theobroma' is almost unreadable on their sign. In their favour, each time Ive visited, the staff have been gracious and the polished wood tables immaculately clean. While it is nice to have a classy cafe at a shopping centre, the food was their low point. Despite (apparently) including all sorts of good-quality and interesting ingredients, their gourmet shakes are small, thin, and generic-tasting; their Belgian waffles are rubbery and insipid; their hand-made truffles are forgettable. Perhaps the other items on their menu are as delicious as they sound, but I won't know. Ill be at San Churro.
