Just advising of a disgusting customer service experience, my Wife and I had at the Collins St Melbourne store at 1.30 pm Friday 24th November.
We were constantly followed by a particular shop assistant (stalked would be a better word ) and made to feel like we were common thieves as if we were scoping the premises out for illegal activities. Not only did the shop assistant not ask us any queries but continually followed my wife and I ,standing 4 feet away at every cabinet or position within the store. To feel this second rate and made to feel intimidated and bullied is a disgusting customer experience. This is the reason we only stayed for 5 minutes.
Just because my Wife and I were not in formal attire ,does not mean we need to be made uncomfortable .Needless to say we will never be attending this ...read more
The after sale care is very average. My partner purchased a bracelet of which the hinge came undone after 2 months of wearing it, I myself lost the pearl of my pearl necklace (within 6 months of purchasing it) and in both cases Tiffany's jeweller blamed us customers for wearing the piece too often and in the wrong way and decided that the damage could not be repaired under warranty. I strongly recommend against shopping with the company (they are too big for their shoes and think that customer service is irrelevant).
I popped in recently looking for a particular type of bracelet and was assisted by Courtney who was very helpful, and took plenty of time to show me lots of different options. Although I didn't find exactly what I was looking for I was very pleased with the friendly and courteous service.
Agree with all the reviews citing poor customer service, but the staffs that served us while buying a five figure price tag band did not make us feel as an event, they did not even know the details of the ring and characteristics of the stone... just kept saying "it is beautiful, I like it very much"... I must say this is not the first time experience at this shop... another sales assistant bluntly stated "I know you're going to feed back the details of the design to your jeweler" as I was marveling at the intricacies of the design (?!)...definitely not the type of service you'd expect from the company that portraits itself and projects the message of everlasting value and commitment to highest standards...
To be fair, I have come across a lady in that store who has worked for Tiffany for some twenty years... absolutely gorgeous, very discrete, considerate making you feel very special...
Absolutely love some of the pieces that t&c have.
However as such a world renowned jewelry company and such high uptail stores and jewelry you'd expect soo much more from the sales assistants in this particular store.
I guess I haven't been served by all the assistants in there but most of the time I feel very uncomfortable and feel very judged and have to wait for between 10-20 mins standing around waiting at all the cabinets until one of the assistants finally musters up the courage to serve me...
They can be okay but some of the time they aren't all too helpful and don't seem to care which they kinda should as its such a big investment if your spending 200-500 on just a little gift for your partner.
But at the end of the sale it's all okay just get through it...no biggie obviously someone in their business needs to have a word with their slack service but what can ya do!
